We are looking forward to our Faust Festival that will take place from May 23rd to June 11th 2017.
Faust Members (except those in Stage, Tots and School Programmes) join The Faust Festival. Performances are many and varied, with a wide selection to choose from. The festival is an opportunity for our Faust members to experience the buzz of performing in a dedicated performing space and share their theatrical skills with family, friends and, for our older groups. the public. This provides a great insight to everything involved in a theatrical production.
Whether you’re looking for a classic children’s story faithfully told or innovative new shows for young adults and family groups alike, this year’s Faust Festival has something for everyone. Faust International Youth Theatre proudly presents a selection of 28 show-stopping extravaganzas, with performances including Peggy The Pint Sized Pirate, Cyrano De Bergerac, A Brief History Of The Ancient Olympic Games, The Voyage to Atlantis and many more! Shows are performed in English by Faust International Youth Theatre members aged 4 to 16. Join us for three full weeks of dramatic fun for all the family!
This year we are excited to be at two venues. Our younger groups (except Tots Groups) will return to the recently refurbished McAulay Studio Hong Kong Arts Centre (2 Harbour Road, Wanchai) from May 23rd to June 11th. A wonderfully intimate space to perform, giving the children the experience of theatre. Our older groups (with the exception of Stage Group) will remain at Y Studio, Youth Square (238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan) from June 2nd to 4th). This larger theaetre will really challenge our actors, to work on their voice projection and physical movement. In addition our youngest actors (ages 4 to 5) are all taking on the brilliant story of The Jungle Mix Up. We are excited to see the unique twist that each group puts on the well-known story they will perform.
