THE BEAR HUNT

Using the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt we’ll explore the wonderful sensory world of the story. Together we’ll embark on an immersive journey through the different environments we encounter using mime, physical theatre and our imaginations. Together we’ll physicalise the story and think about every step an adventurer takes from packing the right equipment to running from the bear and finding comfort in a journey with friends.

ROLL UP! ROLL UP!

Roll up, roll up to the biggest circus on earth! Are you ready to meet the Ring Leader? He’s great at talking loud and clear and he’ll help us to improve our voice skills so we can develop our own loud voices. We’ll then meet the Strong Man who will show us how to use our bodies to become different characters. Next we’ll meet the Mime, a silent character who will help us to improve our physical theatre skills. By meeting each character in the circus, we’ll grow and develop our drama skills and knowledge.

WHEREVER WE MAY GO!

It’s time to explore the big wide world, we’ll get our back packs on and fill them full of all the supplies we’ll need on our journey. We’ll need cool clothes for Australia when we’re learning aboriginal movements, our thinking caps on as we reach London and use physical theatre skills to become all of the wonderful things we see outside the window and our body language as we battle the cold of the Antarctic. Load up your back pack and be ready for all the dramatic adventures ahead!
