Conversation & Interview Skills (4 – 5 years)

A fun, interactive workshop with a maximum of 6 children, minimum of 2 children. We aim to boost their confidence in speaking with others to help them prepare for kindergarten and primary school interviews. From conversational etiquette to how we can present ourselves physically, students will learn how to properly present themselves and learn key phrases to help the development and continuation of a conversation.

Interactive Storytelling (4 – 5 & 6 – 7 years)

A fun, interactive workshop with a maximum of 8 children, minimum of 2 children. A storybook will be read with children with many drama exercises incorporated in the telling. Students will be encouraged to act out different characters in the story and also use different voices to differentiate the various characters. There is also an element of reading comprehension involved as Leaders may ask about the events of the story during the session.

The Drama Detective (8 – 11 years)

A series of strange crimes have taken place and it is up to you to solve the case! Students will play the roles of detectives and eye witnesses and figure out clues to discover the identity of the master criminal in charge. This is an interactive, process drama workshop where members will to act out scenes, figure out puzzles, unmask the villain and save the day in 1 hour!

Creative Writing (6 – 7 & 8 – 11 years)

Each session will start with a series of short, fun writing and vocabulary warm up games before focusing on a specific story prompts and writing exercises. The emphasis is on students expressing their own ideas and building confidence and ownership over their writing. Students will write on provided worksheets and not on screen.

Comic Illustration (6 – 7 & 8 – 11 years)

Each session will focus on a specific drawing principle, character or style of drawing with examples and feedback for students’ work. We will draw inspiration from superheroes and fantasy comics, Dog Man, 13 Storey Tree House, Phoebe and her Unicorn and many more to expand your child’s imagination through illustration.

The Writer’s Quest (8 – 11 years)

An exciting role playing adventure game for creative thinkers, writers and actors! The children will be given a quest and must solve a series of dangerous challenges to help secure victory! There will be short writing challenges as well as acting scenes to improvise along the way. Great for those who love role playing games and thinking outside the box.
