About the Show
New York, the early 1980s. A con man is hired by two different employers to assist in matters of business and affairs of the heart. At the same time he is trying to boost the confidence of a lowly hotel clerk while juggling his own romantic interests. Star crossed lovers, well intentioned and accident-prone friends, manipulative authority figures, and vindictive hotel staff also come to collide together to create chaos and carnage on stage!
Based on the famous Commedia dell’arte play of the same name, Faust Stage Group’s version of Servant of Two Masters brings the same anarchic spirit and energy of the original into the extravagant and hedonistic 1980s.
